The EIG
Newsletter
Volume
2: Number 1: January/February 2002
This issue marks the one-year anniversary since our first edition. How time flies. From a small beginning, we have now grown to well over 1,000 subscribers in so many countries around the world. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your support and for passing on the newsletter to your family, friends and work colleagues, and for all your e-mails of encouragement to me over this past year. You have honored me with your support and enriched my life in so many ways.
2001 has been an eventful year historically, that has changed all of our lives in some way forever. The tragic events of September 11th in the United States of America will not fade soon, if ever, from our memories, nor will the images we saw or the incredible stories of heroism and self-sacrifice that came out of that day.
At this
time, I would like to wish all of you and your loved ones a peaceful, healthy
and prosperous 2002 from all of us here at The Empowerment International Group.

Goals: A 10 Part Formula for Setting and Achieving
Your Goals
We all know
about setting goals, and New Year is a time when many of us tend to make those
new goals. Most of the time we make them with great intentions. We have high
hopes for success, and we get excited.
We join that health club to get in shape or to lose those extra few pounds. We make that career change, doing that one
special thing we have always dreamed about. We all want to achieve our dreams,
hopes and aspirations, but for one reason or the other we frequently never see
those goals that are so important to us through to action.
Jim Rohn
said about goals:
“ If you
go to work on your goals, your goals will go to work on you, if you go to work
on your plan, your plan will go to work on you. Whatever good things we build
end up building us”
Remember
the smallest of actions is always better than the noblest of intentions.
As we approach this pivotal goal-setting period, I think of this ten part formula I have found particularly effective for staying with and achieving your goals.
Remember, you must be very serious about your goals, because they will
not just happen by themselves. You CAN and must make them happen
yourself.
Treat
your goals with respect and give them your full attention, time and
energy. They will bring you the
rewards and success you desire. To your success.
3 Keys To Success In
Any Venture As Defined By Bill Gates: Founder Of Microsoft
1.
Being in the right place
at the right time.
2.
Have a vision of
where the industry/business your in is going
3.
Taking Massive and
Immediate Action
I don’t know about you, but when some one as successful as Bill Gates talks, I usually want to listen to what they have to say. Bill Gates makes it seem so simple. Or maybe is it that some of us just make it seem so complicated!
